Creativity More Than the Spice of Life? In our busy world where workplaces give you a number and not name creativity separates you from the masses. Is it really that important? Yes, we believe it is.! It is our belief, it is the most important quality a person may possess and it ranks nearly as high as discernment. And in this article we will define creativity, it's function, and discuss why it is an important characteristic of a person, for the individual's evolution, and that of society. After we've discussed the virtues of creativity, we would love to hear your thoughts. What is Creativity? Let's start by defining creativity. creativity /ˌkriːeɪˈtɪvɪti/ noun 1. the use of imagination or original ideas to create something; inventiveness. 2. is a phenomenon whereby something new and valuable is formed. The created item may be intangible or a physical object. 3. a process of thought used by humans and animals. So, as we can see, creativity is the use of the imagination to generate a new idea. The idea should be valuable, which is both useful and efficient. And finally the creation can be tangible or intangible. We learn that all animals possess this process of thought, including humans. With this clear understanding of creativity, let's discuss the function of creativity in human beings. Who Benefits From Creativity? Creativity as a characteristic has been found in nature since the dawn of time. The atoms and molecules of particles form characteristics that are then passed on to the organic and inorganic organisms that are part of them. Plants, and animals have been the benefactors of creativity through the use of chemistry and the laws of nature. Personality Psychology is perhaps one of the most important subjects that the average person can study. Within its dynamics we find an understanding of how people think and behave. Because our thoughts create subsequent actions, it is important to know why we think and how to control our thoughts. It views the behavior resulting from the use of the mind those levels of consciousness that are conscious, subconscious, and superconscious. Again the range extends from the individual through to the collective. Psychology then studies the functions of the conscious and unconscious phenomena within the realms of feelings and thought. From a Psionics view, it peers into how the person interacts with the mental planes, the astral planes, and how these planes intersect with the physical body in its plane. Psionics, thus is a natural and supernatural science that extends into social science applications. When it dips into the paranormal planes, the constructs, tools, and processes move through conscious and subconscious levels within the individual and society. The Brain and Psychology The brain is a physical organ of the body and mind. It is approximately three pounds and is linked to the perceptions of the mind and communicates meaning as understand and nervous system response, either as a reflex or conscious movement. The brain, thus functions as the coordinating center of sensation and intellectual and nervous activity for the body. The Psion uses this faculty along with the mind to accurately access the thoughts, memory and energies of others. And it is virtue and character that determines their levels of encroachment.
