The average person puts only 25% of his energy and ability into his work. The world takes off its hat to those who put in more than 50% of their capacity, and stands on its head for those few and far between souls who devote 100%.
A man doesn’t need brilliance or genius, all he needs is energy.
Energy is the quantitative property (measured by number value) that may be transferred from one system to another system by none and unknown laws of nature and in particular physics. It is the capacity or power of a thing to do work. Further, it gives the system the ability to perform work. This work might be movement of the body, or heat. Energy is considered a conserved quantity. It means that it can be converted from one form to anther, but can never be created or destroyed. This action is governed by the Law of Conservation of Energy.
The Measurement of Energy and Types
Energy is measured in units of joule which is the International System of Units (SI). Energy can be measured before it is transferred to another object during and after the transference. This transference is always accompanied by movement and there are many forms of energy. Some of these include kinetic energy; energy in moving objects, potential energy; which is stored when an object is stationary and within in a force field which is gravitational, electric or magnetic, Elastic energy; which is a type of stored energy while the object is being stretched, Chemical Energy; as released during the burning through oxidation or other means, Radiant energy; as carried by light, and finally Thermal energy caused by an movement or work of object due to temperature and its changes.
The Relationship Between Energy and Mass
The mass of an object plays a role with energy and they are closely related. Albert Einstein’s e = M C^2 relates the two quantities and therefore any object that has mass when stationary (rest mass) also has an equivalent amount of energy and when any additional energy is absorbed by the object above the rest energy will increase the object’s total mass just as it increases its total energy. They are directly proportional. As an example, when heating an an object, you increase its energy could and therefore in principle there is a small increase in mass, that can be detected using sensitive measuring tools.
Energy and Life
Life requires energy to live. This includes all plants, animals, and humans. Humans stay alive by producing energy within their body in the form of electricity, heat, and radiation. They get their energy from the Sun, food and elements. The human culture has learnt to cultivate various forms of energy in order that they may function more perfectly. They synthesize energy from base inputs resources such as fossil fuels. They then convert this to the types of energy required fuel machines and devices. In a perfect world every unit of energy would be some form of renewable energy. Renewable energy is energy that is collected from previously used resources that werre naturally replenished within a reasonable timeframe. In this way all processes of life animate and inanimate are living within a balanced and ecological guideline so that everything that is meant to survive does. From a Psionic Circles perspective all life needs to work within intelligent guidelines supporting and respecting the life and methods of everything else, as long as the thing isn’t destructive to one’s being and property.
Closing
In closing we leave you with the thoughts that energy is the property by which work is accomplished. It is conserved meaning that the total amount of energy is finite. As finite, it can not be created or destroyed. A law that we didn’t discuss that will be viewed next time is the Law of Entropy and is the Second Law of Thermodynamics. The second law of thermodynamics states that “in all energy systems if no energy enters or leaves the system, the potential energy of the state will always be less than that of the initial state.” This is represented by law. Therefore the Law of Entropy tells us that we must always put the right fuel/energy into the system to keep it alive and well.
